Plug the clock in and click Connect. In the list of serial ports that appears, click the row that says USB Single Serial, then the Connect button. (Firefox shows a drop-down instead: check it says USB Single Serial, then click Allow.) You may see the clock run its startup sequence; that is normal.

The clock keeps local standard time and applies its DST rule at display. Sync sends this computer's local wall-clock time; the DST rule below should match your region.
